BUILD UP
It is important that you contact us in good time should you foresee any problems keeping to this schedule. All stands must be finished by 22:00 Tuesday 17 June 2025.ACCESS TO THE VENUE - EXHIBITOR PERSONNEL
For safety reason, we do not encourage you entering the exhibition halls during the heavy build-up on Saturday and Sunday. However, if any Space Only/ Shell Scheme/ Meeting Room exhibitor personnel requiring access to the exhibition hall during build-up or dismantling must hold the Build Up & Dismantling Passes. Please click here to order your build up & dismantling pass.
Build Up & Dismantle Passes can be collected from the SYMA desk at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) North Entrance Hall 2 and a Photographic ID will be required when collecting your passes.
ACCESS TO THE VENUE - CONTRACTOR
According to the regulation from SNIEC, all contractors should purchase contractor badges on-site with showing build-up deposit receipt, a carbon copy of insurance contract from setting up to dismantling period, a name list, ID copies and photos of all workmen. Each badge is RMB 50. Personnel may not engage in construction activities without a badge.

VEHICLE ACCESS
Contractors with trucks or any other commercial vehicles should apply for a Vehicle Pass which will be charged at RMB 50/vehicle with a RMB 300 deposit. The time limit for loading is 1.5 hours in the Centre. The overtime charge will be assessed at RMB100 / 30 mins. Please click here for detailed Vehicle Pass application procedure.
Please Note: It is compulsory for all space only stands to submit the Damages Deposit Form. Exhibitors and contractors will not be granted passes to access the hall to commence build if this form has not been submitted.
DISMANTLING
MWC Shanghai will close on Friday 20 June 2025 at 16:00
After 16:00 on 20 June and only once all visitors have left the exhibition hall. Under no circumstances before 16:00 on 20 June can any goods can be removed or packed away from your stand. In the interest of health and safety, exhibitors are asked to not continue with hospitality on their stands after the event has closed.
Process for removing items from the exhibition hall during dismantling:
- Exhibitors and contractors who need to remove large items from the exhibition hall during the dismantling period must first obtain a removal permit form from the official freight forwarder. The exhibitor/contractor must complete this form with all of the details of the items they wish to remove and then obtain a ‘stamp’ as approval from the official freight forwarder.
- The office of the official freight forwarder is located inside the exhibition hall. Exhibitors and contractors need to show their badges to verify their identity.
- When moving out the items, exhibitors and contractors need to show the stamped approved removal permit to the security guard at the gate for cross-checking. The security guard at the gate has the right to request an open-bag search to all exhibitors and contractors.
- Items requiring declaration on the removal permit include, but are not limited to computers, monitors, display screens, items in paper / plastic bags, suitcases, paper boxes, and other large or valuable items.
Electrical power to stands will be switched on 30 minutes before the show opens and switched off 30 minutes after the show closes.
Traffic around the hall will be particularly busy during the first few hours of dismantling. For all shell scheme and app pod exhibitors as well as clients with shell scheme meeting rooms should note that the official contractor will commence the dismantling of shell scheme from 09.00 on Saturday 21 June, by which time these stands will need to be clear and ready for dismantling.
