The GSMA Client Portal (formerly E&P Invitation System) for MWC Shanghai is now live. All confirmed Registration Co-ordinators will receive an account login email with instructions for how to access their account.

What is the GSMA Client Portal?

GSMA provides Exhibitors, Partners and Sponsors with the Client Portal for managing their allocations of passes received as part of their package.  Your allocation of passes is visible through your Client Portal account.

The Client Portal allows you to:

  • Send invitations or registration codes to your staff and guests in order for them to register.
  • Search, manage and run reports of your invitations and registrants


What is a Registration Co-ordinator?

A Registration Coordinator is the person in your company who will manage your allocation of passes and invite staff and guests to attend MWC Shanghai.

If you have received login details, however are not the nominated Registration Coordinator for your company, please login to the Online Event Manual (OEM) and click on ‘My 'Account’ – ‘Add Contacts’ – ‘Registration co-ordinator’ and click Edit. 

The new Registration co-ordinator should receive the login details within 24 hours.


Where can I learn more about how the Client Portal and how it works?

When you sign into your Client Portal account, you have the option to read our user guide or watch our training videos prior to using the system.


What is the registration and requirement?

Due to government registration rules & regulations, all attendees must self-register.

For Mainland Chinese visitors:

  • they must insert their names and Mainland Chinese ID card numbers during the registration process
  • real-time ID verification will be completed at the point of registration 

For non-Mainland Chinese visitors:

  • they must insert their names and passport/travel permit number during the registration process

Please bring your Chinese ID card or passport/travel permit with you, as we may verify your identity upon entrance.


What is the access requirement?

All attendees will need an active Digital Access Pass to enter exhibition halls, conference or sessions.

Further information will be announced nearer the event.  Keep checking our website for updates. We will also email you when this information is available.


Build up and dismantling Access (NEW arrangement for 2025)

There are three types of passes available.

You will only need ONE of the below passes for build-up and dismantling access.  

  • Type 1: MWC Shanghai Digital Access Pass with Extended Hour Access 
  • Type 2: Contractor / Worker Passes at SNIEC 
  • Type 3: MWC Shanghai Build-up & Dismantling Passes - EXHIBITOR PERSONNEL (non-workers and without MWC Shanghai event passes)
