GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION

Q1: Where and when is MWC Shanghai 2021 taking place?

MWC Shanghai 2021 will be held from Tuesday 23rd February to Thursday 25th February at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), Kerry Hotel Pudong and Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel.

The city is divided into two parts by the Huangpu River. The venue is located in the east of the Huangpu River, namely Pu Dong District, and the address is:

2345 Longyang Road (near the intersection of Hua Mu Road and Fang Dian Road)
Pudong District, Shanghai
People’s Republic of China

**Please note that the exhibition is going to be held in Halls N1-N5 with the main registration and badge collection area at Entrance 2 of SNIEC. The map below should give you a clear idea on the most convenient way to get to the site.

SNIEC is located in the east part of the city, the Pudong district. Both The Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and the Shanghai Pudong International Airport are located around 30km away. 

1. Taxi: Around 40 minutes
2. Take the Airport Shuttle Bus Line 3 to the Longyang Road Station →5 mins taxi to Huamu Road (near Fangdian Road)
3. Take the Airport Shuttle Bus Line 5 to the Longyang Road Station →5 mins taxi to Huamu Road (near Fangdian Road)
4. Take the Maglev Train at the Waiting Hall of Pudong International Airport to the Lonang Road Station →5 mins taxi to Huamu Road (near Fangdian Road)
5. Take the Maglev Train at the Waiting Hall of Pudong International Airport to the Lonang Road Station → Change Metro Line 7 to Huamu Road Station (exit from Gate 2)
6. Take Metro Line 2 to Longyang Road Station where you can walk or continually interchange Line 7 to Huamu Road Station (exit from Gate 2)

1. Taxi: 45 minutes approx.
   
2. Take Metro Line 10 to East Nanjing Road Station, and then interchange Line 2 to Longyang Road where you can walk or continually interchange Line 7 to Huamu Road Station (exit from Gate 2)

Q3: Is there parking at the venue and is there an associated cost?
There are several parking lots in SNIEC, in which P5, P6 and P7 are the closest ones to our exhibition site. The parking price is RMB8/hr with a maximum cost of RMB64/day.

Q4: Is there disabled access at SNIEC?

Yes, the SNIEC has elevators and restrooms specially designed to accommodate people with accessibility needs.

Q5: Where can I find out more about the night life in Shanghai?

Q6: What is Mobile World Live (MWL) and how can I join?

Q7: What is the dress code for the conference?

Casual business attire is appropriate for all meeting activities.

No matter what you choose to wear, we definitely recommend wearing comfortable shoes which will surely improve the distance you actually cover. Trust us - your feet will thank you.

Q8: How and when can I register for the event or register my staff and guests?
Registration for MWC Shanghai is open now, please check our website for the most-up-to date information.

We will be providing an Exhibitor & Partner Invitation System for MWC Shanghai 2018 that is designed to help Exhibitors and Partners manage their allocation of passes by allowing them to send their registration invitations to their target audience of attendees for MWC Shanghai. The system will be launched soon.

As an Exhibitor or Partner you will be allocated a certain amount of passes as part of your package. To find out your allocation of passes please visit the Pass Allocation section of the manual.

Login details to your E&P Invitation System account will be sent to the Registration Coordinator listed in the Online Event Manual under Additional Contacts and Registration Coordinator (within the Company Profile Section) once the system is live. You will also be given the opportunity to join a training session on how to use this system.

VISA INVITATION LETTERS INFORMATION

Q9: Do I require a visa to enter China?
A passport is required for most international travel, so make sure yours is up-to-date. Visitors to mainland China require a passport that is valid for at least six months prior to entry. Please click here to find the local Chinese Embassy in your country for information on visa requirements.

Q10: How do I request a visa invitation letter?

Once the event registration launches, attendees requiring a visa invitation letter for proof of their registration to attend Mobile World Congress Shanghai can do so alongside registering for the event (attendees are reminded to have their passport with them to complete this form). Attendees can log in at any time to request a visa invitation letter through "My Registration" which will open closer to the event.

Q8: How do I book my accommodation or travel?

Shanghai Vision Expo & Meeting Solutions Co., Ltd has been appointed as the Official Accommodation Management Company for MWC Shanghai 2021 to assist you with a followings:
