Access during build-up & dismantling
All who need access to the venue during build-up and dismantling must use the ‘Digital Contractor Pass’ or the ‘Digital Access Pass’. This means that wristbands will not be provided as a means of access.
Exhibitor and Contractor staff registered for the event days will not require a Digital Contractor Pass. Those registered for event days will have a 'Digital Access Pass' for the Event that will also grant access during the build-up and dismantling periods. Individuals who need access during build-up, event days and dismantling should only be registered once. The Digital Access Pass is available in the official My MWC Series App.
Contractors and suppliers (Service Providers) who have personnel needing access only during build-up and dismantling will first need the Exhibitor to set their company up as a ‘Service Provider’ in the Client Portal.Once this step is complete, the nominated person from the Service Provider will be sent their own login details to the registration system where they will be able to register all the personnel that are required to be onsite during these periods.
A unique and valid email address and Passport / EU National ID information will be required for each registration as part of the service provider’s allocation. Once registered, each individual will receive email confirmation and instructions for how to use their Digital Contractor Pass. The same registered email address will subsequently be used to communicate key information and announcements.
All personnel needing to access Fira Barcelona during the build-up and dismantling phases must present their Digital Contractor Pass on their smartphone browser (no app download will be required) alongside their corresponding Passport or EU National Photo ID for inspection.
Access during Event days
The Digital Contractor Pass will only grant access during build-up and dismantling. Service Provider personnel who require access during the event days must be registered by the Exhibitor using their exhibitor staff allocation and will be able to gain access using the official MWC ‘Digital Access Pass’ via the MWC Series App.
Service Provider staff registered with an event 'Digital Access Pass' can use this to access during the build-up and dismantling periods and will therefore not require a Digital Contractor Pass.

Instructions for Exhibitors
If you have a supplier who needs access to the venue during the build-up and dismantling, you need to set their company up as a ‘Service Provider’ in the Client Portal.
This step is very easy. When you sign into your account you will see a button called ‘Create Service Providers’. Once you click on this you will be given the option to ‘Add new Service Provider’. Simply click on this and enter the full contact details of the person from your service provider who will be responsible for registering their workers for build-up and dismantling.
Drivers of all vehicles needing to access the venue will also need to present a fully validated Digital Contractor Pass. If you have any shipments or deliveries coming to the venue please ensure that you or your Service Provider have made plans to register the driver, to avoid unnecessary delays.
Instructions for Service ProvidersIf you are a service provider who needs access to the venue during the build-up and dismantling phases, you first need the exhibitor that you are working for to set your company up as a ‘Service Provider’ in theClient Portal.
Please speak with your contact at the exhibiting company to perform this step and provide them with the full contact details of the person from your organisation who will be your designated coordinator.
Once this step is complete, your designated coordinator will be sent their own login details to the registration system where they will be able to register all the personnel that you require to be on-site during these periods. Please check all ‘spam’ and ‘junk’ folders if the email does not arrive immediately.
The role of the designated coordinator from the Service Provider company is critical in ensuring that all personnel working on behalf of the service provider are successfully registered and are provided with all instructions and training needed to ensure that they are prepared and arrive at the venue ready for a smooth access experience. When logged in to the system, the designated coordinator will easily be able to see; and run reports of, workers who have not yet signed in, so that they can be followed up with directly.
It is very important that each individual is registered with a unique email address; the system will not allow any duplicate email addresses. Please advise all registered personnel to check their ‘spam’ and ‘junk’ folders.
Drivers of all vehicles needing to access the venue will also need to present a fully validated Digital Contractor Pass. If you have any shipments or deliveries coming to the venue please ensure that you or your Service Provider have made plans to register the driver, to avoid unnecessary delays.
