This extension aims to foster greater creativity, sustainable growth, and a more efficient use of time and resources. Furthermore, the extra time promotes a safer working environment by alleviating time pressure and reducing risks associated with intricate builds and tight schedules.
The standard build time has been increased from twelve (12) to fourteen (14) days by default, with the option to request up to an additional six (6) days - all provided at no extra cost to exhibitors or contractors.

- For safety reasons, electricity to stands will be cut from 18:00 Thursday 6 March
- No vehicles are allowed to circulate inside the halls. All items must be removed by hand
- Please ensure that personal and valuable items are removed on Thursday 6 March. The Organisers not liable for any items left on your stand unattended. (Note: this time is designated only for the removal of audio-visual equipment, computers and other valuable items)
- Valuable items can be removed by hand through the venue access points. Underground parking areas are available around the venue (Parking B,& F max. vehicle height 2.10m), to allow loading of goods
- For external AV companies (not Fira official suppliers) that need to remove equipment on this day, please contact Fira Barcelona in the following email: mwcvehicleaccess@firabarcelona.com
- Stand structures cannot be dismantled on Thursday 6 March. Stand structure dismantling commences on Friday 7 March
- Empty boxes that have been stored with Resa/EF-GSM will begin to be distributed. Due to the high quantity of empty boxes, we cannot guarantee that your boxes will be delivered to your stand until Friday 7 March. To maintain the security inside the halls the empty boxes will be delivered sequentially
- All personnel requiring access to the venue during build-up and /or dismantling periods must register for the necessary pass
- Exhibitors and Contractors may only access the site for build-up on the day detailed for your specific stand type
- Exhibitors should plan the design of their stand space with the level of complexity that can realistically be built within the official build-up period
- Exhibitors who feel that more time may be needed for their construction can contact servifira directly to discuss the possibility of an early access tenancy agreement, at the exhibitors own cost. Please click here to contact servifira
- Please note:
- If a contractor has various stands within the event, the combined square meters of all stands can be applied to this list
- No vehicle movement or work at height is permitted inside the venue on Sunday 2 March 2025. Click here for more details
- Security & ID Checks
- Passport or National ID must be presented when accessing the venue. ID checks will be performed at all access points
- Only Passport or European Union National ID Card will be accepted for access to MWC. This includes the build-up, event and dismantling periods. Other forms of ID including driving licenses or similar are not valid to access the venue
- Important: The ID document shown at access points must be the same used for registration
- PPE - Personal Protective Equipment
- Hard hats and high visibility vests are required in order to gain entry to the venue during build-up and dismantling, except for the Sunday before the event starts
- Flat shoes, pumps, heels of any kind (including trainer heels), wedges and open toed shoes such as sandals and flip-flops – are NOT permitted during build up and dismantling at any time. This is for your personal safety during the construction phase as well as if an incident was to occur
- All exhibitors can register contractor personnel that they wish to have onsite during the opening days of the event if required. Access will be permitted in accordance with exhibitor access times
